This subject will cover the steps involved in bringing up a new drug into the
market. Those will range from biological and chemical approaches to drug discovery,
product development through in vitro and animal tests, and pre-clinical and
clinical trials. In addition, physicochemical studies, recommendations on drug
use as medication, regulatory requirements of drug licensing, and cost associated
with the different steps of the process will be explored.
