Laboratories are units at the universities that support specific research requirements and collaborate in teaching across university departments, institutes and research teams.

Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence Applications at the UIB (LAIA@UIB)

 
The main purpose of the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence Applications at the UIB (LAIA@UIB) is to define a space for support and collaboration to develop different joint research, training, dissemination and transfer actions in the field of applied artificial intelligence and to promote the interdisciplinary and transversal collaboration of the groups involved in the development of applications based on AI.
 
The objectives of the UIB Artificial Intelligence Applications Laboratory (LAIA@UIB) are:
 
  1. a. Collaborate and transfer research results in relation to applied artificial intelligence.
  2. b. Create an interdisciplinary support space in the field of applied artificial intelligence.
  3. c. Offer training programs in applied artificial intelligence for companies, institutions and entities.
  4. d. Submit projects to regional, state, European or international aid programs.
