Breu CV
Eduard Moyà PhD és profesor associat del Departament de Filologia Espanyola, Moderna i Clàssica de la Universitat de les Illes Balears, on imparteix cursos a les àrees de literatura, llengua anglesa i crítica cultural tant a nivell de grau com de Màster des del 2011. Es doctorà a la Universitat de Queensland (Austràlia) l'any 2011. Ha investigat en els camps dels estudis postcolonials i de la teoría del viatge, especialment a l’àmbit de la literatura de viatges a les Illes Balears (segle XX).
Ha escrit i (co)editat diversos volums entre els quals destaquen Jenny Nicholson. La hija polifacética de Robert Graves, 1919-1964 (2019); .Journeys in the Sun: Travel Literature and Desire in the Balearic Islands (1903-1939) (2016, 2017 2ª ed.) guardonat amb el 2018 European Society for the Study of English Book Award for Junior Scholars in the Cultural and Area Studies in English; i Le voyage dans tous ses états: les espaces viatiques des sciences à l’image (2014).
També ha publicat diversos capítols a llibres o revistes científiques com ara “American Travelers in Mallorca in the 20th century: the hard work of the nothing-to-do’s”. Entre altres coses, és membre del grup de recerca RELATMIT (Relat de viatges i mite insular) UIB; ha format part del projecte I+D “Turismo y performatividad de la identidad local: Nación y región desde una perspectiva postcolonial y de género (Catalunya y Balears en el siglo XX)” Universitat de Barcelona (HAR2017-83005-R) (2018-2019); És membre de la comissió assessora de la Fundació Mallorca Literària i membre de la Fundació Robert Graves. Eduard Moyà també és dramaturg i actor.
